New Tinie Tempah Single PASS OUT!

Recently signing to Parlophone Tinie Tempah is the latest UK rapper/grime artist to be signed by a major. He is seen to follow in the foot steps of Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Wiley, Dizzee Rascal & Ironik who have all gone from underground grime stars to top 10 selling artists. We've been lucky enough to work with Tinie on his forthcoming album and I have a strong feeling he could go further than most UK rappers to date. Tinie Tempah is definitely another name to pay close attention to in 2010.

Plan B has had a great 2009 and with a top 10 single with Chase & Status, a lead role in UK film Harry Brown and as the year ends he has just dropped the video for his new single which you have probably been hearing on Radio One stuck in the ridiculous december traffic that seems to be spreading everywhere! Anyway Plan B is one of the most creative people I've ever met and had the pleasure of working with so I highly recommend this checking this video. This new single is definitely not following trends but is stand out & catchy as fuck! Make sure you pay close attention to Plan B in 2010!

Ok, so 99% of music we hear and make these days is all electronic based music. Starting from the humble synth things have progressed to where we are today. However, we would not be here without some of the pioneers of our time. People like Robert Moog who created the legendary MiniMoog, still used today. When it comes to using these mamouth synths there is no one more famous than the french genius, Jean Michelle Jarre.

The time has come for JMJ to take things to 2009 as he has now taken to the decks. check the video out for what DJ is evolving into . . .

KANYE WEST MAKES G.O.O.D MUSIC

Hip Hop superstar Kanye West is lining up the first official independent release from his very own G.O.O.D Music label.

The rapper has teamed up with fellow Chicago native and spoken word phenomenon Malik Yusef to release the double album entitled G.O.O.D Morning G.O.O.D Night.

The first single from the project is a real treat! The tracks called Magic Man and features fellow G.O.O.D Music label mates Common & John Legend.

The album features some amazing collaborations from such diverse talents as KRS 1, MICHELLE WILLIAMS [Destiny’s Child], TWISTA, ADAM LEVINE [Maroon 5], JENNIFER HUDSON, PAUL WALL, Mr HUDSON, RAHEEM DEVAUGHN and BUN B [UGK].

Its released on the 8th JUNE!

So E3 was a couple of days ago (for those who don't know, its one of the biggest gaming conferences in the tech calender) and Xbox has to be the show stopper at the moment. I have been debating if I were to get a console would i go PS3 (pretty much only for Gran Turismo 5) or Xbox. PS3 on paper is a much better machine, but Xbox just seem to be killing of PS3 as more titles move over to Xbox such as Metal Gear Solid, and the new Splinter Cell (which is exclusive to Xbox now). The cherry on the fast moving gaming cake has to be Xbox's latest announcement code named 'Natal'.

Its pretty much what Wii should have done, completely controller free gaming. Natal picks up 3D motion via a camera, face recognition, voice recognition, with what looks like amazing accuracy. the best way to work it out is to check out the demo video.

Street Fighter Midi Control

In the electro world laptop driven DJ's are starting to really make some noise. I'll admit, I use ableton live to really create a different style of set, kinda like live remix mashup production djing . . . but the key to it all is control. No one wants to DJ and look like they are checking the latest post on TigerVision so maybe you need a controller like this! Custom made, it uses arcade buttons to really give a tactile feel. Next time you drop that big bass line you can do it with a SONIC BOOOOOOM!
